Allianz allocates a single policy number per family to simplify the management of your insurance coverage. Here's what you need to know about your family's shared policy number:
1. Shared Policy Number: Your entire family shares the same policy number used to access and manage your insurance coverage.
2. Access for Insured Members: Due to data protection laws, insured members who are 16 years old and above don't automatically have administrative access to other family members' coverage. However, adult members automatically have access to administer the cover of minors in the family.
3. Granting Access: If your spouse or older children need access to administer the insurance cover, they will need to create a login to explicitly grant access. This ensures that sensitive information is protected and only accessible to authorised individuals.
4. Member Portal Access: To gain access to the member portal, your spouse or older children can create a login using the same policy number at the following website: https://my.allianzcare.com/myhealth/1/login
